About this resource
The London Curriculum places the capital at the heart of learning. It uses the capital city as a uniquely rich and concrete context for learning. In so doing it will ignite young people's thirst for knowledge and help to strengthen their ability to grasp new concepts and ideas, as well as unfamiliar places, times and cultures. It will help young Londoners better understand and engage with their city, and support their knowledge of the places, people and events that shape their city. Fifteen teaching units supporting the new key stage 3 national curriculum for English, music, art and design, geography and history. These units have been developed in partnership with subject experts and 27 London secondary schools.
